About Us
Pedal-Power 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, refurbishing, and distributing second-hand bicycles to local and international organizations in need of economical transportation and/or parts. While the bicycle may mean recreation and exercise for some, for others it represents access to medical care, education, and the workplace. We strive to reduce waste in our community by recycling used bicycles for those in need. Pedal-Power is a division of Mansfield Bike Charity and is located in Mansfield, Texas.
Mission
Pedal-Power is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, based in North Texas and founded by mountain bike enthusiasts. Our passion is connecting individuals and organizations with transportation that can change lives. Our mission is to provide low cost transportation options to students, micro-businesspeople, health care workers and others in developing nations and in our local community by recycling and reusing bicycles and their component parts.

Bikes for Zimbabwe - Beacon of Hope and Joy.We greatly appreciated the opportunity to provide bicycles to the Beacon of Hope and Joy to help the children and adults of Zimbabwe. It's exciting to know that they will be used to provide so much for the people there. We learned that these bikes will be used to check on the living conditions of orphans in remote parts of Zimbabwe. The bikes will be used as transportation for the 8 mile journey to the one clinic to procure medication for children in the Chiguvare Primary/High School. We wish these people the best, and thank you for all your efforts on their behalf. We are so happy that you would think of us to help you, help others. It was a great pleasure to work with you, and we look forward to a continued partnership. Thank you again, The Pedal-Power Team |
